Royston Glass splashbacks are fabricated in house using low iron glass. 6mm low iron glass is used as standard and enables us to achieve a true colour clarity by removing the hint of green which can occasionally be visible in standard float glass used by others in the industry.
Our Glass
We use 6mm toughened low iron glass as standard for our splashbacks, although up to 19mm is available for other types of installations. Using state of the art machinery we are able to provide shaping to accommodate electric sockets, cooker points and shaped cooker hoods. Area coverage is available in excess of 3 metres in length.

Colour Options
We manufacture to your own specification in virtually any colour imaginable. Not only can you choose from any available RAL, NCS or British Standard paint colour, but we are also pleased to offer a full colour match service enabling our customers to achieve a complete bespoke design, providing colour matches to the majority of high street paint brands.
Splashback Finishes
Royston Glass coloured splashbacks are available in several finishes - Gloss, Matt, Textured, and Mirror. Our gloss, matt and textured finishes are available in our full colour spectrum providing an endless array of design options for your project.

Glass Specification
Royston Glass splashbacks are available in maximum dimensions up to 3000mm x 1250mm. We are able to produce splashbacks in excess of these dimensions but such orders are subject to over-size additional charges and extended manufacturing lead times.

Glass Processing
Using our state-of-the-art glass CNC machines Royston Glass is able to offer a market leading glass processing service. We are able to shape your glass, insert cut outs to accommodate power sockets, notches for those awkward corners and drill holes for extractor fixings. All to ensure a bespoke quality fit.
Safety Features
All our glass is toughened to British Standard (BS 6206-EN12150) with polished edges for your safety as standard. (Please note it is not possible to toughen glass less than 300mm in height or width).
Ensuring splashbacks are toughened is a key consideration for customers especially where glass is in close proximity to a heat source such as kitchen hob. Beware of competitors keeping prices artificially low by using a safety film on glass rather than toughening. By applying this film they may claim the glass is safety glass but it will not be heat resistant.
Please note that mirrored splashbacks are manufactured in 6mm safety backed glass, but are not toughened, unless otherwise stated. This means they are not heat resistant and are not guaranteed as such. Please also note that the mirror can be vulnerable near cut-outs and drill hole locations. Please take extra care when tightening fixings.
